The LuKang District of Chang Hua Coastal Industrial Park is currently reforming its traditional industrial areas toward innovative industrial parks with diverse characteristics by introducing industrial tourism and green energy industry. The purpose of this paper is to discuss the strategies of creating leisure space image for the park. First, field data were collected for analyzing and recognizing the elements of spatial imagery about industrial parks. Secondly, to identify the keys and priorities for industrial park transition projects, data about users’ degree of importance and cognitive experience for elements of spatial imagery were collected using questionnaires, which were analyzed using the techniques of Semantic Differential Scale and Importance-Performance Analysis (I.P.A.). We collected 314 valid questionnaires samples from tourists, residents and employee. Finally, recommendations were made for improving the ecological environments, industrial economy and culture of industrial parks.
