Pilomatrixoma is a relatively rare tumor arising from hair follicles. The usual sites are the face and upper extremities. The tumor generally presents as a single, asymptomatic dermal or subcutaneous nodule, which occurs most common in the first 2 decades. This paper describes a case of 14-year-old girl with such a tumor presenting in the preauricular ares. The tumer was removed with Nd-YAG laser. The patient has been well 6 months postoperatively.
