摘要

醫療照護工作同仁要對難以預期何時何處出現的新興或再浮現的傳染病做好因應準備，以避免醫療團隊在診療照護個案的同時，成為疾病傳播的場所，同時，如何避免所照護的個案發生醫療照護之相關感染，更是日常工作中隨時都要注意的課題。本文強調標準防護措施，與接觸、飛沫、空氣三種傳染途徑別之防護措施，內容涵蓋感染控制整體概念，是各類疾病別的防護措施或機構類別的防護措施的發展基礎。因此，每一位從事醫療照護工作的人員都應該盡量清楚瞭解其內容與原則，而機構則應透過主管的行政支持及以身作則，建立機構內的安全文化與風氣。靈活運用系統性改變、教育訓練、評估及回饋、工作場所提示等多面向策略提升機構內人員對各項感染控制措施的遵從性，以保障病人的安全與工作人員的健康。

Healthcare workers have to prepare themselves well for unpredictable emerging and reemerging infectious diseases to provide the patients safe environment so that patients won't get infected during their visit. Meanwhile, how to prevent patients from healthcare associated infections is the challenge that all healthcare workers have to face in their daily work. This article reaffirms that standard and transmission-based precautions (including three categories: contact, droplet, and airborne precautions) provide comprehensive guidance on the primary infection control measures for ensuring a safe environment for patients and healthcare personnel. All healthcare workers should know the principles and contents of these precautions well. Multimodal strategies including administrative leadership, institutional safety climate, as well as system change, training and education, evaluation and feedback, and reminders in the workplace should be adopted into the working plan and implemented at facility level to improve the compliance on infection practices by all healthcare workers, to ensure patient safety and personnel health.
