The traditional Economic Production Quantity model mainly assumes that production does not have a defective rate. However, Defective product will appear in the production. In addition, the defective rate of production will also change due to different factors such as process technology, product mix, improved operation flow, accumulated output and accumulated production time etc.
This paper will discuss the problem of economic production quantity, with regard to the learning curve and imperfect process. The defective rate of production has a learning effect. The defective rate of the multivariable learning curve will be introduced into the traditional economic production quantity model, and the mathematical model will be derived to find the best economy. The method of production batches. This study compares the results of the research with traditional economic production quantity model, so that the research can have a deeper understanding of the impact of the learning curve on economic production quantity model.
Keywords:imperfect quality, learning effect, economic production quantity.
