摘要

本文的目的主要介紹臨床簡易營養評估指引「MUST」。良好的營養可以提供免疫功能所需的能量、促進傷口癒合及預防過度的分解身體質量；而營養不良對於身體及心理有許多負面不良的影響，但是營養不良的情形仍常存在於臨床，一個期易且有效的營養評估工具，將可以應用於繁忙的臨床情境，協助臨床工作人員，以期能早期篩檢出營養不良之個案，提供醫療團對作爲處置之依據。「Malnutrition Universal Screening Tool」、「MUST」被許多文獻支持是簡易且具信效度的評估指引，本文的簡介希望能提供臨床醫護同仁之參考，以提供個案更佳之照護。

This paper introduced the use of ”Malnutrition Universal Screening Tool, or MUST”. Well nutrition can provide energy, protein, and nutrients needs to fuel the immune system; promote wound healing and prevent excessive breakdown of lean body mass. In contrast, malnutrition has the adverse impact on patients both physically and socially. Undernourished patients are not uncommon in hospitalization population and remain unnoticed from time to time. The ”Malnutrition Universal Screening Tool” is a valid and convenient tool for early detection of malnutrition among patients.
