Preliminary Study on Melt Spinning of Polyetherimide/ polyesters Alloys

摘要


本研究旨在探討聚醚醯亞胺∕聚酯合膠材料於添加反應型相容化劑之性質變化,以及以熔融紡絲法製成之合膠纖維其阻燃性質。先以電腦輔助評估反應型相容化劑摻合入合膠中之作用,接著以混練設備實際製備合膠,再測量其性質。結果顯示添加相容化劑將改變合膠的聚集尺度,與模擬結果符合,並且影響其熱性質,以及聚酯之結晶特性。

In this study, we discussed the change in properties of a polymer alloy consists of polyetherimide and polyesters while adding a reactive compatibilizer. Moreover, we spun the polymer alloy to have fiber and then tested the flame retardant property of it. The evaluation started from computer simulation and then real compounding, followed by properties measurements. It showed that the compatibilizer would change aggregation scale of different polymers, which agree with the phenomenon in the simulation. Also, the thermal properties of the polymer alloy and crystallization behavior changed with the addition of compatibilizer.
