Taxonomic treatment is the most important work in biostratigraphy. In this paper, 50 form genera and 91 taxa of the Oligo-Miocene fossil sporomorphs are reported. Twenty-eight form genera and 47 taxa are here described for the first time from several well drilled by CPC at Peikang area in central Taiwan. In European and American research, the Pteridophytic spores from the beginning of the Tertiary is gradually being forgotten but Taiwan is rich in the Pteridophytic spores (the total is more than 53 genera 140 species) of the Miocene to be their last remaining habitat and Taiwan may be of special significance in paleobotanical geography.
