國家森林解說志工參與解說服務動機與工作滿意度之研究-以新竹林區管理處為例

The Motivation and Satisfaction of the Voluntarily Participated Interpretation Service-A Case Study of Hsinchu Forest District Office

摘要


解說志工擔負傳達森林永續經營理念、林業宣傳及保育尖兵之任務,並經由解說服務搭起了長久沉默的林業工作者與遊客之間互動的橋樑,今藉由此研究,以林務局新竹林區管理處國家森林解說志工參與解說服務的動機及工作滿意度為主題加以探討,期望能提供管理單位人力運用上之參考。 本研究以林務局新竹林區管理處國家森林解說志工為研究樣本,研究方法為問卷調查法,總計發放110份問卷,回收99份,有效問卷98份,有關統計分析方面,志工基本資料採用描述性統計,志工動機、重要度與滿意度方面採用因素分析。 研究發現,解說志工以男性略多,年齡層以46~60歲為多數,教育程度以專科/大學以上佔90.7%,職業以退休人員和軍公教及公民營事業員工為主佔61.2%,參加年資以2年1月〜3年最多,訓練期別以第三期人數最多,81位仍繼續接受排勤,擔任志工個數以二個以上志工團體佔約80.6%,徵募來源則以透過員工或志工介紹,解說服務時間以週六日為主;職前訓練以認識野生動植物與解說技巧為主、訓練方式以講授為主實地演練為輔,累計訓練時間達三個月以上。 在參與原始動機與持續動機中分別萃取出,「喜愛自然」、「專長發揮」、「人際關係」、「生涯規劃」及「優惠與消遣」等五個因素;「環保自然、知識成長及社交」、「生涯規劃」、「專業領域」及「自我需求」等四個因素。 解說志工在對從事解說服務時之滿意度及重要性的看法上皆為:夥伴關係>自我成長>專業領域;在長期從事志工意願之滿意度為:解說服務能力>服勤安排>志工管理>訓練課程;而在重要性上則為:解說服務能力>訓練課程>服勤安排>志工管理。

Voluntary interpreters, who are responsible for conveying the philosophy of long-term management, forestry extension and conservation, built an interactive bridge between the forestry professionals and tourists by interpretation services. This study aims to investigate the volunteers' motivation and satisfaction for the interpretation services and to provide useful information for the forest district office. This study surveyed the voluntary interpreters in Hsinchu Forest District Office by using questionnaire. 98 of 110 questionnaires were valid. As descriptive statistics elucidating basic data of volunteers, volunteer's motivation, significance and satisfaction aspects are examined by the factorial analysis. The study finds out that most of the voluntary interpreters are male, with age between 46-60, 90.7% with bachelor degree, and 61.2% are retired workers from public, educational and military sectors. The average time of their participation is between 25 to 36 months. 81 interpreters still assume regular duties, and 80.6% of them participate in more than two voluntary groups. Most of them join the interpretation services through the employees' or other voluntary interpreters' introduction, and their service hours are mainly scheduled on weekends. The training course takes more than 3 months, focusing on wildlife identification and interpretive skill improvement. For the original motivation, five factors are selected: ”adore the nature”, ”exert one's specialties”, ”social interaction”, ”career planning” and ”special discount with recreation”. For the persistent motivation, four factors are selected: ”environmental conservation, self improvement and social relationship”, ”career planning”, ”professional field” and ”self affirmation”. As for their job satisfaction, they value ”co-workers' relationship” more than ”self improvement” and ”professional field”. For their intention as long-term voluntary interpreters, they emphasize more on ”ability for interpretation service” than ”assignment of duty” and ”management of voluntary interpreters.” On the aspect of the importance of interpretation service, they regard ”ability for interpretation service” higher than ”training course”, ”assignment of duty”, and ”management of voluntary interpreters”.
