本研究旨在探討組織因素及個人因素對安全績效的影響。台灣135所大學院校的239位勞工安全衛生人員,於2001年完成一項自我實施問卷調查,回覆率為59.01%。經使用多變項變異數分析,結果發現組織的性質、勞工安全衛生人員及勞工安全衛生委員會,以及個人的性別、職稱、事故經驗及安全訓練經驗在安全績效上達到統計的及實用的顯著性。而個人因素之年齡及工作部門在安全績效上雖達到統計的顯著性,但尚未有證據能說明其具有實用的顯著性。組織因素對安全績效有影響,可能與組織結構及安全結構有關。個人因素對安全績效有影響,可能與視覺空間能力、生涯發展階段、職業階層、過去經驗、行為改變、組織結構有關。最後,作者建議組織管理者都應關注這些重要的組織因素及個人因素,以利組織改進並追求卓越的安全績效。
This study aims to investigate of organizational and personal factors on safety performance in laboratories in universities and colleges. A self-administered questionnaire survey was sent to labor safety and health managers (LSHMs) at 135 universities and colleges in Taiwan in 2001. The number of respondent was 239, representing a response rate of 59.01%. Multivariate analysis of variance, was used to determin that, organizational category organizational of ownership, LSHM, the presence of a labor safety and health committee, gender, title, experience of accidents and safety training statistically and practically significant affected the performance in a laboratory. Although age and department statistically significantly affected the performance, no evidence of practical significance exisbed. The organizational factors that affected the performance may be associated with organizational structure and safety structure. The personal factors that influenced the performance may be related to spatial visualization, career development stages, occupational hierarchy, past experiences, changes in behavior and organizational structure. Finally, the author recommends that the managers should address those important organizational and personal factors to ensure ongoing improvements and excellent safety.
