摘要

本研究主旨在探討職業桌球發展之可行作法，採質化研究設計，應用深度訪談方式進行資料蒐集。以學者專家、桌球運動推動者是國際桌球名人為對象，進行研究。研究結果發現提高球賽觀賞性、建立運作組織、擴大經費來源、政府政策配合等四項構面，是為可行改善重點。研究結果提供未來桌球運動職業化推展之參照，及後續研究的方向。

The purpose of this research was to study the feasibility of developing professional table tennis in Taiwan. This research employs the method of quantitative analysis of materials gathered through in-depth interviews with scholars, specialists, table tennis promoters and internationally known table tennis personalities. The results of this research show that the most feasible points of improvement are as follow: improve the watch ability of the game, establish an operational organization, enlarge financial resources, and governmental policy matching. These results are provided for consideration for any future attempt to develop professional table tennis in Taiwan.
