Incontinence-associated dermatitis (IAD) is a common problem in patients with incontinence, and critically ill patients are a high-risk group of incontinence dermatitis. Using mobile apps in nursing education can help improve caregiver care. The purpose of this study was to explore the learning effectiveness of nursing staff in intensive care unit through mobile application intervention to control patients with incontinence dermatitis. The study objects were 60 nursing staff in an intensive care unit of a medical center in the central part of the country. 30 people in the experimental group received four weeks of incontinence dermatitis action app intervention, and 30 people in the control group received incontinence dermatitis. Classroom teaching mode involved about one hour; before and after teaching intervention, the two groups used the "Incontinence Dermatitis Care Learning Outcome Survey Questionnaire" to evaluate their learning effectiveness. The data were archived and analyzed with SPSS 21.0. The results of the study showed that after the intervention of mobile application learning, the knowledge of incontinent dermatitis care, the attitude of care for incontinent dermatitis, and the care behavior of incontinent dermatitis, all achieved significant results (p<.05). Therefore, it is recommended that nursing clinical units can use the teaching methods of mobile apps as a strategy for nursing staff education and training in the future.
