具軟層RC結構之耐震性能分析-以南加州地區之建築物為例

摘要


本研究中根據牆體配置方式不同的五種RC構架在地震力作用下的耐震性能,探討軟層對建築物耐震能力的影響。分析中以美國加州洛杉磯地區的建築物為例,首先根據2003 IBC、ASCE 7-02、及ACI 318-02之相關規定進行結構設計,之後則依ATC-40所述之「容量震譜法」計算各構架在設計地震力下所對應的性能點,最後再以FEMA-356中對Life Safety (LS) 所建議的結構性能標準檢核各構架是否能達到預期之性能等級,並探討軟層對RC結構耐震能力的影響。結果顯示在上述五種構架中,兩種具軟層之建築物在設計地震作用下無法滿足Life Safety的標準,此外純構架建築物由於設計地震力之韌性折減過大亦不符合Life Safety的要求。

The Research is to study the seismic behaviors of low-to-midrise concrete buildings with a soft first story by analyzing five concrete frames with various configurations of infills. Typical Buildings located in the Los Angeles area were assumed, and the designs were conducted based on 2003 IBC、ASCE 7-02、and ACI 318-02. Then the Structures were analyzed according to the simplified nonlinear analysis specified in ATC-40. Finally, the seismic performance of each building was compared to the “Life Safety” criterion proposed in FEMA-356. Results of the analysis showed that for structures with soft-story, Life safety criterion cannot be reached under the design based earthquake. In addition, the Pure Frame modal also failed to meet the Life safety criterion due to the significant reduction in design earthquake load as permitted by the building code.
