  • 本研究將根據Chou et al. (2009)之季節定義-包括第一濕季及第二濕季(濕季)、春季及秋季(過渡季)及冬季-探討全年皆存在於東亞-西北太平洋地區之東北-西南走向的多雨區降水特性之季節變化。
    降水頻率部分,冬季及過渡季之弱降水發生頻率較濕季高,而強降水之發生頻率則較濕季低。而在降水平均強度部分,所有百分位數皆呈現濕季有較強之強度,而乾季及過渡季則較弱。另外,濕季強降水及極端降水事件對應之平均上升運動較強,而冬季則較弱,春季接近於冬季,但秋季卻接近於濕季且強度幾乎相當。強降水之持續時間結果顯示春季及冬季之強降水事件持續時間較短,而濕季較長。
    探討造成季節變化之原因,吾人分析後認為,在兩濕季及乾季,可降水量對於強降水及極端降水降水強度之季節變化影響較垂直運動大,但在過渡季節則不明顯。若探討各季節降水強度之改變,可降水量之貢獻遠不及垂直運動,而垂直運動則是由趨向於不穩定之溫度結構貢獻而來。
