  • 通訊軟體的使用雖方便工作上的溝通效率,但「下班後使用通訊軟體處理工作事項」卻導致工作領域與家庭領域愈來愈緊密而產生衝突。此外,主管不當督導也被許多研究指出對於員工的心理和身體會產生負面之影響。過往工作家庭衝突的研究大多數都在探討衝突所產生的後果,鮮少討論衝突的前因,本研究以情感事件理論觀點探討下班後使用通訊軟體處理工作事項與主管不當督導兩項前因對工作家庭衝突的影響,並試圖了解負向情感是否能夠影響其之間的關係。研究對象為臺灣的全職工作者共191份的有效問卷。研究結果發現員工「負向情感」在「下班後使用通訊軟體處理工作事項」與「工作家庭衝突」之間具有部分中介效果;另外,員工「負向情感」在「主管不當督導」與「工作家庭衝突」之間具有完全中介效果。並根據研究結果在末端歸納出管理實務意涵及未來研究建議。

    Although the use of electronic communication during work time is beneficial for work efficiency, the use of electronic communication during non-work time will result in increased levels of work-family conflict. Furthermore, prior research has shown that abusive supervision is detrimental to employees’ mental and physical health. Drawing on affective events theory, this study examined the effects of electronic communication during non-work time and abusive supervision on employees’ work-family conflict, while also investigating the mediating role of employees’ negative affect on the above effects. Survey data were collected from a sample of 191 full-time employees in Taiwan. The results showed that employees’ negative affect partially mediates the relationship between electronic communication during non-work time and work-family conflict. Moreover, the results found that employees’ negative affect fully mediates the relationship between abusive supervision and work-family conflict. Practical implications and directions for future research are discussed.
