The purpose of this research was to evaluate the properties of particleboard by different frequencies of ultrasonic wave following the CNS 2215 standard. Results were summarized as follows: The properties of type V 313 were met the standard as specified in CNS 2215 type 18 of particleboard, however, the properties of type V 20 and type F were just met the CNS 2215 type 13 of particleboard. After non-destructive testing, it was found that different frequencies have no significant influence on the wave velocity measured in either the longitudinal or the transversal direction. (V_II/V_I = 1.02-1.09). This indicated that the anisotropic characteristics of particleboard were not significant. In order to obtain accurate data, the 54 KHz of ultrasonic wave was good for evaluating bending strength of particleboards while that the 220 KHz frequency predicted internal bonding strength and screw holding strength accurately than others did
