叢枝菌根菌Acaulospora scrobiculata對羅氏鹽膚木苗木生理特性之效應

Effects of Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungi Acaulospora scrobiculata on Physiological Characteristics of Rhus chinensis var. roxburghii Seedlings

摘要


本研究旨在探討叢枝菌根菌對羅氏鹽膚木(Rhus chinensis var. roxburghii)苗木生理特性之效應。以分離自雲林縣古坑鄉草嶺地區崩塌地內羅氏鹽膚木根圈土壤之優勢叢枝菌根菌Acaulospora scrobiculata,經繁殖後接種至栽植於不同介質之羅氏鹽膚木苗木,7個月後觀察其對苗木生理特性之影響。試驗結果顯示,羅氏鹽膚木苗木在土壤水勢、葉綠素a+b濃度、木質部水勢、植物體脯胺酸濃度、蒸散作用及氣孔導度上,均以接種菌根菌及混合介質處理者為最佳。菌根構造之結果顯示,叢枝菌根菌A. scrobiculata 可與羅氏鹽膚木苗木根部形成良好之叢枝菌根,並且對苗木之耐旱性及生理特性等均有顯著之增進作用。本研究證實叢枝菌根菌A. scrobiculata可增進羅氏鹽膚木苗木之生理特性,在崩塌地復育之育林作業上具有應用價值。

The objectives of this study were to examine the effects of mycorrhizal fungi on physiological characteristics of Rhus chinensis var. roxburghii seedlings. Seedlings were inoculated with dominant arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF), i.e., Acaulospora scrobiculata. The fungi was isolated from the rhizosphere of Rhus chinensis var. roxburghii in Tsau-Ling landslide site at Gu-Keng, Yun-Lin County, and grown in different media. Seven months later, the effects of the AMF on physiological characteristics of those seedlings were identified and analyzed. The results revealed that the soil water potential, chlorophyll a+b concentrations, xylem water potential, praline content, transpiration and stomatal aperture of Rhus chinensis var. roxburghii seedlings were the highest in inoculated ones grown in mixed media. The results of mycorrhizal structure study showed that A. scrobiculata could form arbuscular mycorrhizas with roots of Rhus chinensis var. roxburghii seedlings. Significant enhancements in drought tolerance and physiological characteristics of seedlings were observed. This study demonstrated that A. scrobiculata could enhance the physiological characteristics of Rhus chinensis var. roxburghii seedlings, and could be applied to the silvicultural practice for landslides restoration in Taiwan.
