The writer had published "Study on Rainfall Measurement in Mountain Area: (1) Selection of the Correct Raingauge" and by means of non-recording raingauges concluded that the slanting hole raingauge caught rainfall more nearly correctly than any of the other types of raingauges. In this experiment, the recording slanting hole raingauges were set up, for the sake of getting more nearly correct detailed data, to study the influence of wind velocity on the measurement with the slanting hole raingauge. This experiment furthermore proved the slanging hole raingauge can precisely measure the rainfall in mountain area.
