Superconducting Properties of the Pseudoquatemary System Y(Ba2-x Srx)Cu3O7-y

並列摘要

Structural, transport and magnetic measurements have been performed on the pseudoquatemary system Y(Ba2-xSrx)Cu3O7-y(0≦x≦2.0) in order to check the effect of Sr substitution on the supercondducting properties and the phase stability of the YBa2Cu3O7-y-type structure. Single phase region can be retained at least up to x=1.2 and the orthorhombic unit cell volume decreases with the progressive replacement of Ba by smaller Sr. Superconducting transition temperature (T,) decreases monotonically but slowly with the increases of x from both resistance and low field diamagnetic measurements. The influence of oxygen stoichiometric parameter y on superconducting properties is discussed carefully through structural and diamagnetic data.
