育苗介質對穴盤苗物理特性之研究

A Study of the Physical Characteristics of Growing Media on Plug Seedlings

摘要


在移植穴盤苗時,介質塊是否容易崩潰,將與發育根系的整體結構所承受機械取苗的力量有關。本研究針對四種栽培介質進行結球白菜穴盤育苗,在適宜移植期間進行根莖葉及根系發育的評估,並進行生育特性與物理特性之相關試驗與分析。由生育特性之相關分析中,根長度除了和地上部鮮重及總乾重與總鮮重比有正相關外,與其他性狀均呈現負相關,其餘項目間則均有明顯的正相關。在物理特性中,根莖端的拉力及穿刺抗壓剛性與種苗生育特性也有明顯的正相關對應。研究結果發現穴盤苗的剛性與栽培介質有密切的關係,在栽培的四種介質中,以C介質所栽培之穴盤苗,其莖端及根塊剛性最強,可以承受較大的機械力,莖端拉力及穿刺抗壓剛性與根塊崩壞率分別為607 N/mm、247 N/mm與1.21%。其試驗結果可提供給未來從事育苗生產、發展本土化介質及研製機械移植之重要參考依據。

During the transplantation of plug seedlings, the tendency to collapse is related to the mechanical force applied on the overall structure of the root systems when fetching the seedlings. This study sought to evaluate radical and root system development of Chinese cabbage plug seedlings using four types of imported cultivation media to perform the experiments, and analyze the growth and physical characteristics of the plants. Test results of growth characteristics indicate that the root length had a positive correlation with the ratio of dry weight to fresh weight and had a negative correlation with other characteristics. The rigidity performance was positively related with the type of media. Of the selected four types of media, plug seedlings cultivated with the C coded type of media showed the strongest rigidity with radical pull rigidity and penetration pressure resistance rigidity and radical collapse ratio being 607 N/mm, 247 N/mm and 1.21% respectively. The results of this experiment should contribute to the development on the domestic growth media and the operation system of vegetable transplants.
