圖書資訊專業人員與知識管理

LIS Professionals and the Knowledge Management

摘要


隨著知識經濟時代的來臨,知識成為企業組織提升競爭力的關鍵資源,知識管理因而成為二十一世紀企業經營的重要潮流,而在圖書資訊專業工作的領域中,這股知識管理的熱潮對於在企業組織的資料單位中服務的圖書資訊專業人員來說衝擊最大。本文由資訊服務之轉變與專門圖書館員角色轉遷談起,接著介紹知識管理的相關概念,並釐清其與資訊管理的關係,之後說明圖資專業人員如何將其專長應用在知識管理的領域,期望對在職的專門圖書館員和有志投入工商界服務的圖資專業人員有所助益。

The era of knowledge economy has come, and knowledge has become a key resource for improving the competitiveness of an enterprise. As a result, Knowledge Management (KM) becomes the most important strategy of business administration in the 21st century. Among all the LIS professionals, corporate librarians are most affected by KM. This article begins with the transformation of information services and special librarians' roles, followed by the clarification between KM and information management. Lastly, the author explains how LIS professionals apply their competencies and skills to the filed of KM. It is the author's hope to present some useful information for practitioners and LIS students interested in KM.
