高中學生語文能力的分析研究

The Analysis of the Language Abilities of Senior High School Students

摘要


本研究以教育部六十五年編之高中國文成就測驗,及高中英文成就測驗爲工具,分析高中學生的語文能力。研究對象包括8977名高二學生(男5197名,女3780名),均係隨機抽自師大附中等五十所高級中學者。結果發現: 1.高中學生國文詞彙、閱讀、語文效率等能力,及英文發音、詞類變化及文法結構,字彙、成語、聽力等方面之能力尚佳,而國文語文結構,英文閱讀能力尚待加強培養。 2.除了英文聽力外,高中各種語文能力,皆受性別及主修組別二因子交互作用之影響。 3.自然組女生的語文能力,大體上較之自然組男生,及社會組女生的語文能力爲佳。 4.高中學生語文科成就測驗分數,對於大學入學考試語文科目成績,頗具有預測作用,而且高中學生英文成就測驗對於大學入學考試英文科成績之預測作用,大於高中學生國文科成就測驗分數,對於大學入學考試國文科成績的預測作用。

The Chinese Language Achievement Test and the English Language Achievement Test were administered to 8977 (5197 male, 3780 female; 4739 social science major, 4238 natural science major) senior high school students. The main findings of this study were as follows: 1. The abilities of Chinese vocabulary, reading comprehension, and language efficiency, and English pronounciation, structure and grammar, idiom and vocabulary, and listening comprehension of senior high school students were sound, while their abilites of Chinese language structure and English reading comprehension were low. 2. Comparisons were made with both sexes and majors, and the interaction effects of sexes and majors were significant. 3. The analysis of simple effects indicated that the language abilities of female natural science majors were better than those of male natural science majors, and those of female social science majors. 4. The predictive validities of the Chinese Language Achievement Test and the English Language Achievement Test were significantly high.
