全沉浸式虛擬實境技術於建築設計溝通之應用

APPLICATION OF FULL IMMERSIVE VIRTUAL REALITY TECHNOLOGY TO ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN COMMUNICATION

摘要


建築物規劃設計階段影響後續生命週期各階段的執行效率與使用效益,然而設計者與非建築專業的參與者卻常有無法具體溝通設計概念或設計需求的困難。本研究建立將建築資訊模型導入至遊戲引擎建立全沉浸式虛擬實境環境的流程架構,藉由全沉浸式虛擬實境環境模擬,以改善建築設計溝通效率。案例驗證結果顯示,參與設計溝通者透過所設計的全沉浸式虛擬實境環境與功能能真實地感受建築設計、空間配置、動線規劃,並可具體反應其於建築物全生命週期的需求與建議,確實增進設計溝通之效率與效益。

The planning and design phase affects the execution efficiency and the user benefits in the subsequent phases of a building life cycle. However, designers and non-professional stakeholders often have difficulty communicating the design concepts or design requirements. This study proposes a framework to import building information models in a full immersive virtual reality system for architecture simulation to improve the efficiency of architectural design communication. The case study results show that the participants can truly experience architectural design, space layout, and flow through the full immersive virtual reality environment and functions designed. The full immersive virtual reality simulation assists the participants in thinking about the overall design planning that meets the needs of the whole life cycle of the building in the simulation process and improves the efficiency and effectiveness of design communication.
