鑑於基因改造食品(genetically modified food; GMF)與基因改造生物(genetically modified organisms; GMO)對當前生活之重要性,本研究旨在探討高中生對基因改造食品的認知、態度、消費行為與學習需求的情形。本研究採用問卷調查法,樣本取自台灣「北區」、「中區」、「南區」共797名高中生。根據研究結果提出結論:1.高中生對基因改造食品的認知均相當了解,是以非傳統的方法,改變基因構造所生產的食品。2.不同社經地位家長之高中生子女,其認知沒有差異,且與其他自變項均無交互作用。3.高中生均同意對基因改造食品應該採取強制標示,以保障消費者的權益。4.高中生均相當贊成,基因改造食品的上市能否成功,是取決於購買行為。5.高中生對基因改造食品的了解,顯示安全正向的態度與消費行為二者確實有相關。6.高中生均相當同意提早在高二修習基因改造生物(GMO)的課程,並認為應多加宣導,畢竟基因改造食品牽涉人類生存基本營養之來源是否安全的問題。
The purpose of this paper is to study the cognition, attitudes, consumption behavior and learning demands of high school students with respect to genetically modified food (GMF) based on relevant researches. A total of 797 high school students were sampled from ”northern region”, ”central region” and ”southern region” of Taiwan using questionnaire investigation method. The research conclusions are described as follows. The high school students have a deep understanding of GMF that is modified with an untraditional breeding method. There is an insignificant difference among high school students from different socio-economic families, or interaction with other independent variables too. All high school students think that GMF should be labeled obligatorily to ensure the rights of consumers, since GMF has made a breakthrough of regulate biogenetic cultivation. All high school students highly agree that the marketing success of GMF depends upon the purchase behavior. The cognition among high school students of GMF shows that positive attitude is actually related to the consumption behavior. All high school students highly agree that GMO courses should be studied in the eleventh grade of high school, thus helping to increase their interest and accumulate the biotechnological knowleges.
