應用管件液壓成形技術於汽車排氣管開發

The Application of THF Technology for the Development of Exhaust Pip.

摘要


汽車排氣管為汽車排氣系統主要組成之一,除可將引擎廢氣排出車體外,為了避免與汽車內部靠近排氣管其它組件相互干涉…等需求,常需以較複雜曲面設計輔以液壓成形製程生產達到目的。一般汽車排氣系統為顧及耐久性,所選用材料大都為不易腐蝕,且耐熱佳的不銹鋼409或耐候性佳的不誘鋼436,但在液壓成形時,因材料本身之銲接性及成形性比一般鋼材差,且回彈量大,會造成成形後之尺寸精度不佳、難以成形或甚至破裂。本文將以實例說明銲道品質如何影響液壓成形之製程穩定性,並對液壓成形後之排氣管,以超音波測厚儀及3D光學掃描(照相)系統分別檢測厚度及尺寸精度,其結果可深入了解液壓成形運用在排氣管之製程優點及極限為何。

Exhaust pipe is one of the essential parts of automobile exhaust system. Besides the ability to exhaust. Due to the functional requirements for avoiding interference with other parts in car, etc., exhaust pipes are often designed as complicated curved surface and manufactured by tube hydro forming to reach the need. To extend the service life of the automobile exhaust system, the materials selected for exhaust pipes are not easily decayed. Such as SUS409 for heat-proof and SUS436 for weather-proof. Due to those materials compared to carbon steel having worse weld ability, formability and higher spring back, exhaust pipes manufactured by THF may not have good dimension accuracy or formability, even cause a burst of the part. In this paper, a tube hydro forming case about the welding quality is revealed to how to affect the manufacturing stability of exhaust pipe. Then the thickness and dimension accuracy of the THF part are checked up by Ultrasonic Thickness Gage and 3D-digitization system. The result of this study about the process limits for the tube hydro forming of exhaust pipe can be used as criteria.
