摘要

許多癌症病患常會尋求各種民俗醫療或所謂的互補或另類療法，因而延誤治療，甚至對正統的醫療方式也經常造成許多衝擊。在科學實證的前提下，如何適當運用這些治療方法於癌症病患的臨床照護，是護理人員的一項新挑戰。本文從實證依據的護理概念、互補療法之定義、互補療法於護理實務的應用、互補療法於癌症照護之相關研究，以及互補療法於癌症照護之限制與展望來闡述，強調護理人員應充實互補療法的知識，整合國內外相關研究結果，才能以實證爲依據，將互補療法運用於癌症病忠的照護。

Searching for different kinds of folks, complementary or alternative therapies by many cancer patients might delay the best timing for treatment and diminished the efficacy of the legitimate medical therapies. Evidence based utilization of complementary therapies in clinical cancer patient care is a great challenge to nurses. This article described the concept of evidence-based practice, the definitions of complementary therapies, the applications of complementary therapy in nursing practice, the research of complementary therapies in cancer care, and the limits along with the prospects of complementary therapies. The clinical nurses are advised to develop the knowledge of complementary therapies, integrate the results of related studies, and apply them to cancer patient care.
