協同教學(team teaching)是由二位或二位以上的教師組成教學團(teaching team),彼此共同計畫,分工合作,各盡其職,完成教學活動。此種型態的教學,目的在發揮每位教師的專長與智慧,增加學生的學習機會,讓他們接受更多的指導,以提高學習效果。教育部於民國八十七年所公布的九年一貫課程總綱綱要中指出:學習領域之實施應以統整、合科教學為原則(教育部,民87)。但以目前教師所受的師資培訓而言,此項能力甚缺乏,因此,期盼藉由協同教學模式,解決此一難題。此外,實施協同教學,可改變教學型態,讓學習變得更活潑。本文以協同教學為主題,除分別敘述其意義、型態、優點、實施步驟和配套措施等,更舉例說明其如何在「健康與體育」學習領域中實踐,以提供讀者參考。
Team teaching requires two or more than two teachers to form a teaching team. The teachers work together to plan and present teaching tasks. The purpose of team teaching is to develop individual teacher's professional knowledge and wisdom, thus enabling students to receive more instructions and have more learning opportunities. In this way, students' learning effects can be greatly improved. The general outline of the Nine-year Compulsory Curriculum was issued by the Ministry of Education in 1998. It indicated that integration in curriculum and teaching is the principle to implement the seven learning areas. However, current teacher training does not equip teachers with such ability. One of the alternatives is to use the team teaching model. Team teaching is a way to change the existing teaching methods. It enables student learning to be livelier. The content of this paper includes discussion concerning the meanings, methods, advantages, steps and the related measures in team teaching. An example of a unit planning of Health and Physical Education into practice is also presented to conclude the paper.
