從職棒簽賭案看推廣志願服務與運動志工精神之重要性

中華職棒大聯盟從1996年到2009年短短十三年期間，就爆發了五次的簽賭、打假球事件，不僅使職棒大聯盟的聲譽一落千丈，球迷們更失去再進到棒球場內支持球賽與球員的熱情。儘管檢警調單位不遺餘力的投入調查人力並佈下監視網絡，以及各界頻頻釋出的關切與質疑聲浪，卻依舊無法遏止這樣的醜聞一再的發生。因此本文再一次收集相關文獻資料，探究職棒簽賭案件發生的可能原因，並提出具體的改進辦法，希望藉由本文再次的呼籲，期待能盡早落實改善職棒打假球的現象。歸納職棒打假球的主要原因有三：一、社會環境的因素；二、球團管理的因素；三、球員本身的因素。具體的改進措施：一、改善社會治安；二、加強球團管理；三、提升球員精神生活，推展志願服務及運動志工。現今社會價值觀的嚴重扭曲，已經讓太多人急於追求功名及財富，人們的內心只尋求享樂的物質生活、卻忽略了提升個人精神生活的重要性。不論再怎麼完備與適當的管理機制及法律規範，僅能治標，不能治本，唯有深入問題核心，確實推行、深植志願服務精神於球員本身，讓球員們多做公益，多參與志願服務活動，才能確實改善中華職棒大聯盟給社會大眾帶來的負面觀感，以求徹底淨化球員們的危險犯罪心靈，啟發球員們心中良善光明的一面。

During a short period of 13 years from 1996 to 2009, the Chinese Professional Baseball League (CPBL) has been involved in 5 scandals of gambling and players throwing games. As a result, the reputation of CPBL was harmed tremendously, and fans became indifferent for the games and lost their enthusiasm to support players ever. Despite the fact that policemen and prosecutors have spared no effort to keep baseball players under close surveillance, plus the suspicion and concerns voices all over the society, such scandals cannot be prevented from happening. In view of the above situation, this study was aimed to discuss the possible reasons for occurrence and provide measures for rectification by gathering relative information and literatures. This study was also expected to appeal the society for resolution to this matter. The result indicated that main factors caused baseball players throwing games were due to: (1) Social and environmental influence; (2) Insufficient management and control of the teams; (3) Baseball players' own behavior. The concrete measures for improvement are given as following: (1) Betterment of social security; (2) Strengthening of team management; (3) Upgrading of players' spirits and promotion of volunteering services. Owing to the extremely twisted values spread in the society nowadays, many people are too anxious pursuing fame, wealth and material life to ignore the importance of raising their own spiritual life. A complete management system and regulations are merely to regulate people's behavior. The root to this problem is players' conscience. It is suggested to instill players the spirit of volunteering services by participation in charity activities and being volunteers in community services, i.e., cleanup the environment. The negative impression towards CPBL will be reversed when players’ minds are inspired to be good and aboveboard.
