以人力資源管理者之立場淺談護理人員留任作法

Strategies for Nursing Staff Retention of a Human Resource Manager's Viewpoint

摘要


留任護理人員的目的是希望穩定的護理人力可直接或間接降低人員留任之成本。因此「護理人員的留任」已是當前國際性護理人力短缺所最需考慮的重要議題。 本文中許多數據引用參考自中華民國護理師護土公會全國聯合會「97年度護理人員留任措施輔導計畫」的研究與報告。文末的分析興建議,僅爲筆者就一般製造業中常見離職原因,以及採用作爲降低人員離職率、獎勵人員留任措施作法,或許可以提供在專業研究、報告之外,不同面向的思考建議。

The purpose of retaining nursing staff is to directly or indirectly reduce the capital expense for hiring nurses through stabilization of the nursing workforce. Therefore, the retention of nursing staff has been a significant issue to be considered at the present time of an international shortage of nursing workforces. The data in this article were adopted from the study report, ”The Supportive Plan on the Strategies for Nursing Staff Retention in 2008,” published by the National Nurses Association, Republic of China. Besides profession-related research reports, the author, froma different point of view as a human resource manager, addressed the common reasons for staff resignation in general productivity industries. The suggestions included strategic methods for reducing the employee turn over rate and employee recognition for staff retention.
