摘要


美國大學圖書館即時數位參考諮詢服務的價值普遍地受到館員的肯定。圖書館合作式數位參考諮詢服務必須著重教育和訓練專業服務人員以及了解其使用者資訊尋求行為為起始,並於合作之先協商好有關服務品質控管、參考問題的配送處理、網路技術和品質的接受標準設定、文化與政治敏感問題、語言溝通、適度行銷和電子資源版權待決議題等,以順利推動此服務成功地站上學術參考服務核心舞台。

The real-time digital reference service is valued by most academic librarians in United States. To make the collaborative real-time digital reference service viable in academic library service, the libraries need to understand the information seeking behavior of potential users and to train the staff well. The participating libraries also need to coordinate the following issues in advance: quality control, question routing, network standards, cultural and political sensitivities, communication, copyright, and marketing.
