本研究目的在於瞭解我國醫院員工健康生活型態之現況,並探討影響醫院員工執行健康促進生活型態的決定因素。本研究以新竹某區域教學醫院員工為研究對象,利用分層抽樣抽取500名樣本,採自填式問卷調查法進行資料的蒐集。分析回收的406份有效問卷發現:健康促進生活型態總分平均值為61.96(得分組距為13-120),以標準化得分來比較,六分量表之得分以健康責任最低、運動保健次之。經由單因子變異數分析發現教育程度、婚姻狀況及工作班別在整體健康促進生活型態之總得分有顯著差異。而複迴歸分析結果顯示,教育程度、宗教信仰、婚姻狀況、健康自覺狀態與健康行為自我效能的影響達顯著水準,可解釋健康促進生活型態47.9%的變異量。本研究發現醫院員工的健康促進生活型態得分僅達中等程度,此結果應受到衛生主管機關、醫院管理者的重視與省思,如何運用適當而有效的策略,促成醫院員工健康促進知識、態度、價值及行為的改變,以改善其自身的工作與生活品質,進而教育病患及帶動社區民眾。
The purpose of this study was to explore the health promoting lifestyle and determinants among the hospital employees. Using stratified random sampling procedures, we sampled 500 employees work in a regional teaching hospital in Hsin-Chu city. By self-administered questionnaires using the health-promoting lifestyle profile (HPLP) and the self-rated abilities scale was conducted. The results indicated the following: (1) the average scales of HPLP was 61.96(range 13-120), the standardized average HPLP rating was lowest for health responsibility subscale and exercise subscale; (2) one-way ANOVA revealed that education, marital status, and work shift have significant association with health promoting lifestyle; and (3) multiple regression analysis revealed that education, religious belief, marital status, health status, and health self-efficacy were the significant factors which accounted for 47.9% of variance. According to this study, we suggest hospital manager adopting effective strategies to change the knowledge, attitude, belief, and behavior of health promotion for hospital employees.
