摘要

陳映真共著有三十七篇短篇小說。可以分成是四個時期來看，一個在早期〈蘋果樹〉之前，二是〈蘋果樹〉之後到未入獄時期的作品，另外是入獄後轉型，為從存在主義和不滿於存在主義的寫作方向之第三個時期，也就是出獄以後，從〈趙南棟〉到〈山路〉的創作時期。第四個時期則是，出版在洪範的三篇中篇小說，在反省整個時代，本省和外省，中國和台灣的單篇小說。
陳映真其小說的精彩之處始終不是在地的描寫或是鄉土小說，而在於各種思想的表現，和對左派思想、受迫害者、政治受害者、晚期資本主義的種種反省，這是他小說最獨特的魅力。陳映真是思想上的異鄉人，他腳踏的不是土地，而是思想世界，是人的存在世界該以什麼樣的出路來進行，關心台灣這塊土地上的人的出路或所有華人的出路。
這四個時期的小說發展，足以代表陳映真的思想歷程的轉變寫照。本篇將針對陳映真早期作品做討論，包括〈我的弟弟康雄〉、〈鄉村的教師〉、〈故鄉〉、〈蘋果樹〉、〈悽慘的無言的嘴〉、〈兀自照耀著的太陽〉等六篇。

The second is before Ying-Chen Chen putting into firm. The third is the works in the prison, the focal point is in the direction of existentialism. The fourth single page novel introspecting in the whole era.
The excellent place is in the novel of Ying-Chen Chen, it is about the appearing of the thought, the introspection with the the Left's thought, persons who persecute, victim, capitalism Ying-Chen Chen is a foreigner in the thought. But he cares about the opportunities of Taiwanese and Chinese. This thesis will discuss the early works of six Ying-Chen Chens.
