綠藻天然活性成分之護髮效能評估

An Evaluation of Hair Treatment with the Natural Bioactive Compounds of Chlorella

摘要


本研究將健康髮以9%之過氧化氫(H_2O_2)漂洗氧化後形成受損髮,再以綠藻水萃溶液處理修護之。由於綠藻含有多種胺基酸、維生素、多醣體、礦物質、酵素(超氧化物歧化酶)與綠藻生長因子(Chlorella Growth Factor,綠藻精)等豐富的營養素,可以提供頭髮必須的營養,故本研究以綠藻為對象,探討其所含之天然活性成份對受損髮的修護效能。本研究係將實驗室培養之小球藻(Chlorella sp.)處理成凍乾藻體,利用超音波破壁法將細胞壁破碎,以水萃取得細胞質活性成份,將之用以處理受損髮,觀察對受損髮之修復效果。實驗透過增重測試及顯微鏡觀察,結果顯示綠藻水萃液對頭髮有良好的親和性,對頭髮增重率可達5.5%,並可修復受損的毛鱗片,使頭髮表面形成薄膜而呈現光澤亮感;再透過拉力測試儀檢測發現頭髮的抗拉強度平均值可增加20.5%,抗拉強度明顯增強,說明綠藻之活性成份能有效提高髮絲的彈性與韌度。

This study first washed and oxidised healthy hair with 9% H_2O_2, and repaired it with the chlorella solution. Chlorella contains different kinds of nutrients for hair, such as: amino acids, vitamins, polysaccharides, minerals, enzyme (superoxide dismutase) and chlorella growth factor. Focusing on the chlorella, the research explores its treatment of damaged hair with its natural bioactive compounds. It first froze the "chlorella sp." cultivated in the lab and fractured the cell wall by sonication method to obtain the bioactive compounds which would be used to repair the damaged hair. The researcher then documented the effectiveness of the treatment. Weight-gain experiments and microscope observations show that the chlorella solution is hair-friendly. It increases 5.5% of the weight-gain rate of hair, and is able to repair the damaged hair scales by forming a thin, bright membrane on the surface of the hair. Testing through the pull test machine also shows that the tenacity of the hair increases 20.5% on average, which is a significant result. All of these reveal that the bioactive compounds of the chlorella effectively enhance the resilience and strength of the hair.
