牟宗三「作用的保存」概念所蘊涵之道家認識觀

The Epistemology of Taoism Implicated in Mou Tsung-san's Concept of "The Realization from Influence"

摘要


本文嘗試從「認識觀」的角度,為牟宗三先生採取「作用的保存」這樣的詮釋型態作出後設的觀察。文章前半部分析「作用的保存」概念,並討論它和「縱貫橫講」一說之關連;後半部則進一步探討採取「作用的保存」型態詮釋道家思想的原因。最後本文獲得四點結論:一、「橫講」與「縱講」皆肯定客觀的創生,其差別只在「表述方式」;一是從本體正面表述實有,一是透過作用側面肯定實有。二、道家屬「橫講」的理論型態,其實有層內容只能從「作用」來把握。三、採取「橫講」的型態是因為懷疑心知「認識本體」的能力,故採「從作用肯定實有」的表述路向。四、但是道家並未否定「智的直覺」之可能,在修養的最高境界處,仍然為「真知」留下空間。

This paper attempts to ”Epistemology” to make a root interpretation for Mou Tsung-San who adopts the interpretation of ”The affirmation from influence”. The contents are separated into two parts. The first half of the article analyzes the ”The affirmation from influence” concept, and discuss it and ”Horizontally expresses vertical creation” idea the connection between; then, exploration on the adoption of ”The affirmation from influence” to interpret the reason and necessity of Taoist thinking based on the concept analysis of the first part.Four conclusions obtained in this thesis: 1. Both the ”Horizontal theory” and ”Vertical theory” can affirm Objective-Creation that the difference is the expression way on ”Horizontal theory” and ”Vertical theory”. One is to positively express the Being and the other is to affirm the substantial through ”Influence”. 2. Taoist belongs to the form of ”Horizontal theory” and under this theoretical form, Substance will certainly only conduct proof and holding from the influence. 3. Taoist adopts the form of ”Horizontal theory” as there is doubt on the capability of understanding on the substance by the mind. Therefore, it adopts the expression way that affirm substance from influence. 4. However, Taoist does not deny the ”Intellectual-Intuition”. In the highest state of training, Taoist still reserves a space for Real-understanding.
