One of the most heating debates in economics is whether financial development causes economic growth or whether it is a consequence of increased economic activity. On the basis of previous researches, This paper try to use Granger-causality tests with updated quarter dates to provide evidence of a positive and significant causal relationship between stock market development and economic growth. On balance, we find that stock markets positively inter-influence economic growth and then using multiple linear regression model to evaluate the result.
