Performance Comparison for Combined Navigation Satellite Systems in Asia-Pacific Region

並列摘要

Multi-GNSS utilization and applications in the Asia-Pacific region is of important practical significance. Compared to GPS only, the navigation performance for combined GPS/QZSS/IRNSS, combined GPS/BeiDou and combined GPS/BeiDou/QZSS/IRNSS are first simulated and analyzed with Asia-Pacific spatial snapshot and temporal variations (in Beijing, Tokyo and Sydney over 24h). The number of visible satellites (NVS), geometric dilution of precision (GDOP) and minimal detectable effect (MDE) are used as the evaluation parameters of the navigation performances. The analyses of simulation results show that the more navigation satellite systems are combined with, the higher navigation performances will be achieved. Multi-GNSS research, utilization and applications should be vigorously developed as soon as possible, especially in Asia-Pacific, which is the most potential development region of Multi-GNSS utilization.
