The market for folk game festival for people keeps growing in England and France. For example, both the Edinburgh festivals in England and Avignon festival in France have invested in this business. In Taiwan Ilan county is the first investor onto this market. Though the development of Ilan international children's folklore & folk game festival in Taiwan is in its infancy, it is expected that demand will keep growing because of the increasing number of tourists who have the resources to afford high quality recreation of this type. This study of management for Ilan international children's folklore & folk game festival is a case study by using IPA (Importance-Performance Analysis) and its variations as typified by Ilan county. Recommendations are made to government, industry and academics for future policy, business development and research.
