男性重量訓練者身體檢查行為的探究

Exploration of Body Checking Behaviors in Male Weight Trainees

摘要


目的本研究旨在瞭解參與重量訓練男性的身體檢查行為現況,以及與重量訓練行為的關聯性。方法自南部某重量訓練中心選取190位男性為對象(平均年齡為29.86±7.78歲),徵求同意後,讓其墳寫基本資料、運動行為和身體檢查行為等問卷。將收集資料以次數百分比、卡方考驗和變異數分析處理。結果參與重量訓練的男性有時會對著鏡子檢查腹肌,以及藉由身體的伸展檢視肌肉線條,或者透過捏的動作確定肌肉大小和結實度。這些檢查行為的發生與重量訓練行為有關,且參與時間愈長、感覺愈累,發生整體肌肉檢查的頻率就會增加。結論受到重量訓練活動特性影響,參與者會出現特定身體檢查行為。檢查身體時,並會將焦點集中於肌肉的大小和結實度。

Objectives. This study aimed to understand the status of body checking behaviors in male weightlifters and the relevance between their behavior and weight training behavior. Methods. We enrolled 190 men as the participants (aged: 29.86 ± 7.78 years) from a weight training center in Kaohsiung. After the participants provided informed written consent, they were administered questionnaire to collect background information, exercise behavior data and body checking behavior data. All data were analyzed by frequency percentage, Chi-square test, and analysis of variance. Results. The subjects sometimes checked the abdominal muscles through facing the mirror as well as checked muscle striation through physical stretch or to identify muscle size and density by pinch or grab. The occurrence of these checking behaviors was associated with weight training behaviors that involved longer periods the more tired they felt, the more frequently they participated in global muscle checking behavior. Conclusion. In weight training, participants tend of focus on particular body checking behavior, focusing particularly on muscle size and density.
