A remarkable phenomenon in the 21th century is the tendency toward professionallyn oriented development of groups, and through conducting a specific type of work, such groups move towards institutionalized and systemized methods. Group dynamics is a practical theory and mode of thinking used to describe and investigate the various behaviors and phenomena among groups. The main purpose of group dynamics is to further improve, within society, the practitioners' abilities to operate groups with the goal of facilitating their growth and advancing their development. A medical social movement that is closely related to group dynamics is hospice care, which focuses on merging the work forces of different professional teams in order to collaboratively assist in caring relationships between patients and their families. Through understanding the operational principles of decision-making, communication, and problem-solving, this paper applies these principles to hospice care with the purpose of leading the Taiwanese social movement of hospice care towards an ultimate goal.
