From the n-hexane soluble part of the methanol-extracts of the whole herb of Hedyotis corymbosa (L.) Lam (Rubiaceae), N-benzoyl-L-phenylalanyl-L-phenylalaninol acetate, trivial name asperglaucide or aurantiamide acetate, was isolated in 0.00I% yield, and characterized by chemical and spectroscopic methods.
