Following the introduction of new museology concepts, museums have been transformed from the traditional paradigm of "modern museum" to "post-museum". Hooper-Greenhill (2000) proposed a definition of "post-museum", emphasizing the importance of local practices and experience. Treasure Hill was developed on the paradigm of post-museum, with "symbiosis" serving as its developmental direction. The formation of this museum has received considerable attention and been discussed among different circles of society. It is an important case worthy of further study. This paper begins with an introduction of the differences between traditional modern museums and post-museums. This is followed by an analysis of Treasure Hill based on the concepts of post-museum in terms of cultural preservation work, development tasks, and important processes and unique experiences of local practices. Finally, the author discusses the challenges encountered by Treasure Hill and the inspiration of the paradigm of post-museum for overall museum development.
