文化資產詮釋的政治性格與公共論壇化

摘要

由於形構文化資產的場域層次多且參與者多元異質，使得文化資產的建構歷程具有「詮釋彈性」及政治性格。而在記憶與淡忘中、在詮釋差異下、在後生產情境中、在專業與進步主義中、在當代理性作用下，都可能使得文化資產有所落失。面對文化資產的政治性格，我們應該把握此特性而積極參與「公共論壇」的運作，而不是將文化資產「去政治化」。事實上，任何公共議題都是政治議題，如果對任何公共議題主張「去政治化」，就意味著要將某些參與者排除在外，並且搶奪遊戲規則與詮釋權；換句話說，「去政治化」的主張正是最「政治化」的舉動。以「場所精神」為核心的文化資產「公共論壇」不僅能促使文化資產的建構趨向溝通理性，更能促進眾人一起來關心與詮釋文化資產，也就能使文化資產逐漸成為社會的普遍價值而達到文化資產保存與再活化的目的了。

The social construction of cultural heritage has both interpretative flexibility and political characteristics due to heterogeneous social actors and multiple discords regarding interpretation. Several causes may influence cultural heritage conservation, such as the struggle between good and bad memories, differences in interpretations, the closure of industrial production facilities, the direction of professions, and the influence of modern rationalism. Due to the political characteristics of cultural heritage, it is beneficial to create a public forum for cultural heritage conservation. Any claim that the issues regarding cultural heritages are not political is a struggle between political factions which want to make the rules of the game. Basing on communicative rationality, the public forum of cultural heritage conservation can create a public domain in which the public may interpret cultural heritage. The aim of this forum is to allow cultural heritage conservation to become of general value to society.
