大學生參與海外服務之成長經驗與影響因素研究:以朝陽科技大學2015印尼服務計畫為例

A Study on College Students' Growth Process and Influnencing Factors of Participation in Overseas Services: CYUT 2015 Indonesia Voluntary Program

摘要


海外服務是自願在其他國家從事不計酬勞的社會公益活動或行為,大學生參與海外服務,有助於個人成長、開拓視野。本文以質性研究方法,訪談參與朝陽科技大學2015印尼服務的2名大學生,探究受訪者參與海外服務經驗,以瞭解研究者規劃的海外服務方案是否能夠增進學生發展,並瞭解大學生參與海外服務的影響因素。經質性訪談結果分析,結果發現:大學生參與海外服務可增進個人的成長,包括:增強勇於嘗試的自信心、激發正向多元的思維、培養主動關懷的人際關係。另外,大學生參與海外服務的影響因素,可從海外服務方案的選擇、團隊成員的態度與熟悉度、反思帶領與成果發表、持續服務的動力與障礙等方面加以探討。本文依據研究結果,提出三點建議:(一)大學推動海外服務應落實夥伴關係的建立;(二)宜擴大研究樣本;(三)可進行長期的追踪研究。

Overseas services are voluntary non-payment of social services or activities in other countries. The participation of overseas services could expand the vision and promote the development of college students. This article uses a qualitative approach to interview 2 college students who participated in voluntary program in Indonesia of CYUT in 2015, to explore the experience which college students encounter in overseas services, to understand that could the overseas service program which was planned by researcher promote the development of students, and the influencing factors of participation in overseas services. The results of qualitative interview analysis: College students participate in the overseas services could promote personal growth, include: Increase the confidence in trying to be confident, inspire the positive and diversity thinking, and cultivate personal relationalships with active care. In addition, the influencing factors of college students participate in overseas services could be investigated by the choosing of overseas service programs, the attitude and familiarity of team members, the reflection leaderships and results presentation, the power and obstacles to continuous service. Based on the research results, this paper puts forward three suggestions: 1. To implement the establishment of partnership; 2. To expand the study sample; and 3. To carry out long-term follow-up studies.
