社會網路中過度消費行為之研究

摘要


本文中我們探討社會網路中均衡時的過度消費行為。我們將兩種特性 (嫉妒心與不落人後)引入效用函數來陳述消費的外部性。我們也引 入一由動態過程生成的社會網路來探討在此代表性社會網路中競爭 均衡的結果與此競爭均衡和社會決策者的解答有多大的差距。 關鍵字:嫉妒心、不落人後、社會網路。

This paper aims to analyze the equilibrium overconsumption in social networks. We cite two characters (jealousy and keeping up with Joneses) into utility function to express externality of consumption. We also present a social network which is formed by a dynamic process and find out the equilibrium outcome and the gap between competitive equilibrium and social planner solution in a representative social network.
