The special of SNS(Social Network Service)websites bring people in Taiwan and around the world into a new age. It has become not only a focal point for the press but also the thriving research issue. This paper takes Facebook, the best known SNS website, to be the research subject. Our research target is 36 certain college students in Taiwan. We discuss the difference of online and offline social interaction between these 36 students, as well as, the reason of the difference. Through survey, Facebook data collection, the social network analysis approach, and in-depth interviews, we found: (1)In Facebook, the demarcation line between subgroups existed in offline is faded away. (2)Facebook improves the social interaction between students, moreover, creates new relationships between them. (4)However, in that class, the demarcation line is so distinct that the improved relationship in Facebook cannot be visualized in real situation. In addition, we also found that (5)The students tend to leave message in Facebook instead of speaking directly because they want to save interesting dialogue records.
