蜂王漿調降血脂之研究

摘要


蜂王漿(Royal jelly)經許多動物試驗發現具有相當多之功效,例如抗氧化、增強免疫力、抗發炎、降血脂等功效。其中調降血脂的功能,可能與蜂王漿中豐富的蛋白質有關。但是有關調節血脂之人體試驗之研究尚缺乏,故本試驗著重於調降血脂之功效,試驗招募40位血脂偏高(triglyceride;TG >150 mg/dl; total cholesterol;TC >180 mg/dl)之志願者(隨機分為2組,試驗組與對照組分別為20人),分別經專科醫師問診與檢查,篩選沒有代謝性疾病且實驗前並無服用抗生素的藥物之志願者,本試驗為期4個月,試驗結束後的1個月為觀察期。試驗期間,提供試驗組每位受試者每天9粒蜂王漿膠囊(350 mg/粒),本試驗所使用之蜂王漿蛋白質占14.2%、脂肪占2.8%、碳水化合物占20%,提供對照組每位受試者每天9粒玉米澱粉膠囊(350 mg/粒),試驗期間受試者每天維持原穩定飲食型態。由試驗結果可知,試驗組連續食用蜂王漿3個月以上能顯著調降TC與低密度脂蛋白膽固醇(low-density lipoprotein cholesterol;LDL-C)之含量,且經過1個月追蹤期後仍有維持的作用,但是TG並無顯著變化;此外,攝取蜂王漿3個月後顯著提升血中脫氫表雄酮硫酸鹽(dehydroepiandrosterone sulfate;DHEA-S)之含量。因此本研究推測攝取蜂王漿可能有效預防心血管疾病。

Royal jelly have found quite a lot of the effects by many animal experiments. For example, antioxidation, enhancing immunity, antiinflammation, regulating blood lipids and others. This study was focused on the regulation of blood lipids by royal jelly. This was a randomized, placebo-controlled and sigle blind design. 40 subjects were assigned into two groups. 4 months of administration period and 1 month of follow-up period were included. During the administration period, subjects in control group intook 9 capsules (350 mg/capsules) of royal jelly every day and the subjects in the placebo group subjects intook 9 capsules (350 mg/capsules) of corn starch every day. During the administration, subjects maintained the original dietary behavior and life style. Results showed that serum cholesterol levels and LDL-C levels were reduced after three months of continuous use of royal jelly, and the effect maintained after one month of follow-up period. Triglyceride levels were not changed. In addition, blood androgen DHEA was also significantly increased. In conclusion, the use of royal jelly effectively reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease.
