摘要

台灣營建工程多如牛毛，為確保其品質，商業營運的營建材料實驗室由此而生，但面對越來越多樣化的工法及各式各樣層出不窮的新材料，新規範，身為第三公證的試驗單位如何與時俱進，隨著時代變遷於第一時間做出反應也成為實驗室首要課題。
近年國人品質意識及檢驗觀念日漸抬頭，政府部門在執行相關工程建案時，莫不以追求每個環節皆符合法規為第一要務，如此一來龐大且複雜的營建材料檢測市場便成為各檢驗實驗室爭相搶食的大餅，有鑑於此，要如何在這競爭激烈的環境中脫穎而出且永續經營，便成為管理者的首要目標。

本研究旨在探討實驗室透過分析其本身價值鏈，運用知識管理確保實驗室/檢驗機構之能力與檢驗數據之正確性，提昇實驗室/檢驗機構品質管理效率、檢測數據為國內外相關單位所接受、減少重複校正測試/檢驗之時間與成本，歸納出商業營運的營建材料實驗室關鍵成功因素，以及未來強化經營管理之方向，共同為台灣營建工程品質提供更卓越、更完整的服務。
