德布西(Claude Achille Debussy, 1862-1918)為十九世紀中後期至二十世紀初的偉大法國作曲家,同時也是首度將印象樂派色彩注入音樂創作中的先驅者。其音樂拋開傳統調性、曲式與和聲之束縛,就當時代而言,極具革命性的意義。他透過個人的美感直覺,將音樂元素原有之特質表現的淋漓盡致,使作品呈現強烈的感染力及多元豐富的意境氛圍,形成獨特的美學思想與藝術觀。 本論文研究主題為德布西作品《為鋼琴的》(Pour le Piano),分別由《前奏曲》(Prelude)、《薩拉邦舞曲》(Sarabande)與《觸技曲》(Toccata)等三首樂曲加以呈現,為一部連接創作初期與圓熟期的過渡作品,顯見德布西逐漸成熟的音樂語彙與風格。除此之外,在內容方面共分為四章:第一章透過德布西時代背景與生平之探究,瞭解其創作歷程及理念;第二章為德布西鋼琴音樂之探討,解析其鋼琴作品之創作特色與風格脈絡;第三章則為作品《為鋼琴的》之樂曲概述及創作手法;第四章乃針對此三首樂曲進行分析與詮釋,最後將研究結果與收獲歸納作為本文總結。
Claude Achille Debussy is a great French composer during the late nineteenth and early twentieth century; in the meantime, he is also a pioneer who first applied Impressionism into his music. Debussy utilized compositional techniques that discard the shackles of traditional tonalities, forms, and harmonies, a revolutionary significance of the time. Through his personal aesthetic intuition, the original characteristics of music elements are perfectly presented, which make his works full of colorful sonority and inner sensitivity, and form distinctive aesthetic and artistic view. The main focus of this paper is the suite of three pieces entitled Pour le piano. The suite is composed of the titles as Prelude, Sarabande and Toccata, a transitional composition between the early and late periods of Debussy, revealing Debussy’s unique musical terms and styles leading to the maturity. Furthermore, the contents of this paper include four chapters: the first chapter is to understand Debussy’s creative course and ideas through the exploration of his cultural background and biographical information; the second chapter is to probe into Debussy’s piano music and its creative characteristics and styles; the third chapter is to bring out the overview and creative techniques of this piano work entitled Pour le piano; the last is to analyze and interpret three pieces of this work individually. In the end, it concludes with the results of this research and the author’s reflections.
