發光二極體廠晶粒挑揀站派工法則的效能探討

摘要


LED晶粒廠商製造程序分成四個階段:晶圓研磨、晶圓雷射切割與劈裂、晶粒點測以及晶粒挑揀。在其四個製程中,以晶粒挑揀站的排程問題最為複雜,若能解決晶粒挑揀站的排程問題,將能提升晶粒廠商的競爭力。 本研究是以個案公司的LED晶粒挑揀站做為研究對象,LED晶粒挑揀站是屬於平行機台開放式生產排程問題。此排程問題是屬於NP-Hard問題,在實務上通常利用派工法則來處理此類的排程問題。本論文提出五個派工法則做為改善現有派工法則的候選方案。並利用系統模擬建構LED晶粒挑揀站模型,以模擬此五種派工法則在挑揀站的排程情況。本論文以派工法則、晶圓數量、工單類型與瓶頸道次等因子為自變數,以總時程、平均等待時間與求解品質為應變數,進行實驗設計並發現此四個因子皆為顯著因子。 本論文以兩階段績效評估方法從五個候選派工法則方案中,挑選出最佳的派工法則,做為改善現有派工法則的建議。第一階段是以總時程為績效指標來比較五個派工法則,第二階段是選用求解品質與平均等待時間為績效指標。在第一階段挑選出三個較佳的派工法則,發現在瓶頸道次中都採用最長晶粒挑揀時間優先處理的特性。在第二階段的績效評估中,此三個派工法則在求解品質上並無顯著的差異。而在平均等待時間上,以在非瓶頸道次中優先處理最短晶粒挑揀時間的法則比其他派工法則有較短的平均等待時間,因此本研究推薦此派工法則做為改善的建議方案。

There are four major stages in LED testing section, and they are wafer polishing, wafer scribing, chip probing and chip sorting. The scheduling of chip sorting workstation is the most complicated one, and this problem can be considered as a multiprocessor open shop scheduling problem which is categorized as a NP-hard problem. In practice, this problem is usually solved with finding a specific dispatching rule to achieve certain performance indices. A validated discrete event simulation model was first built to analyze the operation of the sorting station. Experimental design was applied to analyze the effect of a number of controllable input variables on selected output variables. This research chose dispatching rule, number of wafer, wafer mix type, and bottleneck location as independent variables. Five dispatching rules were considered in the dispatching rule factor. Maximum make-span, average queuing time, and quality index of the result were selected as dependent variables. Experiments show that all input variables are significant on all output variables. Based on this result and the response of each factor, a two-stage process was proposed to select the best dispatching rule from the five dispatching rules. In the first stage, where make-span as the performance index, three dispatching rules are selected for the next stage comparison, and they are common in applying LPT in bottleneck machines. In the second stage, the response differences on quality index are insignificant for these three dispatching rules. A dispatching rule with applying SPT in non-bottleneck machines has least average queuing time among those three, and this rule is recommended for practical application.
