The main purpose of this study is to explore the relationship between the board gender composition and Corporate Social Responsibility, and to explore whether the board gender diversity will affect the Corporate Social Responsibility. Using a sample of Taiwanese companies and the research period from 2007 to 2015. The board gender diversity is the deviation of the ratio of female directors and the number of female directors, and expects the participation of female directors will have a better Corporate Social Responsibility performance. Despite many prior literatures show that women's board of directors bring benefits to the companies, but the empirical results of this study did not find the board gender diversity will be different from the single gender board benefits, that is, did not bring better Corporate Social Responsibility performance.
