以點為基礎之電腦影像色彩多點擷取程式

摘要


隨著科技的蓬勃發展,平面設計、媒體設計、網頁設計、……等設計領域也朝向多元化發展,本研究所要探討的重心是近年來逐漸被重視及運用的光效設計。在過去,光效設計的視覺設計者與硬體工程師之間,需要經過多種程序相互溝通才能連結。例如:視覺設計的畫面需要先轉換成色彩單元(unit),色彩單元又需要經過特殊處理才能轉成數據(data)。視覺設計者無法辨識最終轉出來的數據,硬體工程師無法處理視覺設計的畫面;視覺設計者往往無法了解硬體設備的限制,而硬體工程師只知道硬體設備的限制,導致溝通上極為困難。 本研究以實際參與日本LECIP株式会社的光效設計案例中,發現視覺設計者與硬體工程師之間,在視覺美感的考量與程式數據的專研截然不同,視覺設計者所設計出的畫面,常因硬體設備的限制或工程師執行的困難而進行修改,需額外耗費許多的時間及金錢,因此設計師與工程師在合作上需要加強彼此的認知。 本論文以運用電腦進行的光效設計為主,藉由文獻分析法及實際參與霓虹光效案例方式,暸解電腦成像的原理及光效設計的流程及手法,從中找出視覺設計者與硬體工程師之間的交集。此交集便是將視覺化的電腦影像轉換成硬體控制器能識別的數據,再應用程式開發工具C++撰寫程式,精確擷取出電腦影像色彩所顯示的R、G、B值,透過此程式成為光效設計中視覺設計者與硬體工程師之間構通的橋樑,並以實際案例證實其可行性。

With the advent of technology, graphic design, media content, web page development, and other design domains have also led to diverse cross-media development. The core discussion of this research centers on the gradually valued and applied of Light Effects design and its importance. In the past, multiple layers and communication must take place between the visual designers and the hardware engineers of the Light Effects (LE) design for an efficient completion. Example, the initial graphic of the LE design must first convert to Color Unit in order to transfer to Digital Data through special extraction and data acquisition process. Visual designers cannot interpret the final Digital Data and do not know the limitation of the hardware. Hardware engineers have difficulty identifying the initial graphic design but only understand the limitation of the hardware capability. Through the actual case studies and projects with LECIP Company of Japan, this research has discovered the vase difference in visual esthetic sense of the LE designers and hardware engineers. Often, there are many changes and modifications required due to the hardware limited capability from the initial graphic design to the final implementation. As the result, time and capital are consumed needlessly. Both the designers and engineers must realize their shortcomings for a successful and profitable project completion. The thesis focuses on the Light Effects design via computer aid using document analysis and actual application of neon LE case to better understand the principle behind a computer imagery generation and the design flow and technique of a LE design while uncovering the connection between the LE designers and hardware engineers. This connection will be the conversion from a computer generated imagery to the Digital Data needed for the hardware controller. Using C++ as the programming language, the software accurately acquires the primary color R, G, B values. The software thus bridges the communication gap between the LE designers and the hardware engineers. The thesis will use actual cases and projects to prove its feasibility.
